Cafe on the Ave: Experience Delicious American Breakfast & Brunch in Seattle

This is a counter service place, order and take a number to your table, they bring the food, self bus. The menu is surprisingly large for a place that calls its self a cafe, there's some options that you wouldn't expect like bibimbap and katsudon. I got the Ave Club, it's not a normal club sandwich but I still enjoyed it. It's a big sandwich too, was plenty to fill me up fo lunch. I had also gotten an Americano, while reasonably priced, it was pretty average, you can find a better coffee elsewhere in the area.

This place is one of my go to spots for Pasta if I’m on the Ave. It was very busy when I went in the afternoon but the food didn’t take very long to come out at all. I got the Carbonara.

This is my favorite restaurant on the Ave. Their ambiance is amazing with a peppy, small coffee shop vibe, music, friendly staff and free wifi. The price is slightly higher than other restaurants on the Ave but it's worth the price. Great selection of drinks and food. Vegetarian options include burgers and pasta. Asian fusion is popular without dietary restrictions.

I have been here once but I got the Ube Husky latte hot and ITS SO GOOD! I will come back to try more things! The workers were super friendly and nice! They have an anti- trump and abolish ice sticker so I WILL 100% supporting this business( especially over Starbucks)! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!

Great place to eat, drink and talk with friends in UW!!! The food we ordered came out really quickly and was plentiful. The crispy pork cutlet, burger, and pasta were really delicious. Next time, I definitely want to try the signature dish, kimchi fried rice.

Had a fun visit here! The atmosphere is great—lively, welcoming, and definitely feels like a spot where friends can gather. Heads up, the music can get a little loud at times, but that actually adds to the buzz of the place. It seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves, from small groups to bigger parties. The vibe makes it clear this is a great spot for a casual night out or catching up with friends. Even with the background noise, it’s easy to have a good time, and the energy in the space just makes everything feel more festive. Totally a place I’d go back to if I’m looking for a fun, social environment with good vibes and a lot of energy.

The waffle was yummy, Yay! You can’t complain w a price and portions like this.

Order at the front counter. Got a number. The coffee is ok, I got a the chicken sausage omelette. It was brought to my table. It was really good. Since I do not like hash browns, and there were no other choices other than fruit for an extra $2, I ordered more toast. I would suggest an option of red potatoes instead of hash brown. The omelette was tasty, the spinach, and even the orange wedge which was the garnish was fresh. When I was done, I had to put my plates in their dirty dish cart.
